- CID A-A-59955 REV 1 CID A-A-59955 IUID CHECKLIST NSN 3453CT IUID CHECKLIST NSN 3419CT VENDOR PACKAGING INSTRUCTIONS SPECIAL PACKAGING INSTRUCTIONS PACKAGING REQUIREMENTS REQUEST FOR QUOTATION This requirement is for a firm-fixed price contract for the procurement of HIGH-LINE DOCKS (GRAVITY ROLLER CONVEYORS), NSN 3910-01-513-3419CT (model with one side entry) and NSN 3910-00-405-3453CT (model with no side entry). The high-line docks are key pieces of materials handling equipment used around the world to enhance the rapid movement of palletized cargo. High-line docks (or gravity roller conveyors) are free standing, reinforced steel frame structures designed to hold six 463L pallets and have total load capacities of up to 60,000 lbs. USAF utilizes two variations of high-line docks - a model with side-entry capability and a model with no side-entry capability. They are used to stage air cargo pallet loads for transfer to/from forklifts and aircraft loaders called k-loaders. These k-loaders can drive up to the dock where the cargo pallets can be quickly rolled onto the loader. The k-loader can then drive to the aircraft with the cargo pallets already loaded. This eliminates the need to forklift each cargo pallet individually onto the k-loader saving valuable time and enhancing contingency operations. NSN 3910-01-513-3419CT: Requirement is for 29 EA PRODUCTION UNITS IN BASIC YEAR. NSN 3910-00-405-3453CT: Requirement is for 1 EA PRODUCTION UNIT IN BASIC YEAR. Also included are four (4) options for NSN -3453CT for additional quantities of 1-5 each (Option I), 1-4 each (Option II), 1-4 each (Option III), and 1-4 each (Option IV) which may be exercised anytime within 365, 730, 1,095 or 1,460 days after award as applicable. Materials: Various ITEM 0001: Gravity Roller Conveyor, One Side Entry, 29 EA, NSN 3910-01-513-3419CT ITEM 0002: Gravity Roller Conveyor, No Side Entry, 1 EA, NSN 3910-00-405-3453CT Delivery Schedule: 180 Days ARO/exercise of option(s) as applicable; Multiple shipping locations are involved. All assets shall be shipped FOB Origin. CID will be made available online when the RFQ is posted. The approximate RFQ issue date will be or around 28 AUGUST 2014. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation at www.fedbizopps.gov only. No hard copies will be mailed out. All questions regarding the RFQ and/or the data package must be submitted in writing to Jennifer.Ogden@us.af.mil with copy to Kathryn.Canady@us.af.mil. NO TELEPHONE QUESTIONS WILL BE ANSWERED. All questions and answers will be uploaded to www.fedbizopps.gov. However, the identity of the potential offeror will not be included. Offerors are encouraged to register to receive notification for solicitation and all amendments/revisions and to check the FEDBIZOPPS site prior to submission of quote. THIS REQUIREMENT IS SET ASIDE 100% FOR SMALL BUSINESS PARTICIPATION.
