- Description
- This is a pre-solicitation synopsis. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center(AFLCMC) Medium Altitude UAS Division intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc. for one (1) Block 1 MQ-9 Reaper System Integration Laboratory (SIL) and one (1) Block 30 Ground Control Station SIL. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc. is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the MQ-9 Reaper system and has been identified as the only firm that possesses the necessary knowledge, experience and technical data required to perform this effort. The Government does not own full data rights for the system; therefore to avoid duplication costs, the Government intends to award the effort pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The National Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for this procurement action is 336411. Please indicate number of employees relative to the size standard of 750 for determination of small business status.
