- NASA/GRC has a requirement to purchase (1) Processor board (#DS1006), (1) Multi Channel D/A board (#DS2103), (1) PHS Bus Cable (#PHS_CAB), (1) Expansion box 10-slot box (#PX10), (1) Control Development Package (#CDP), (1)DS1006 GNU Compiler Free Software (#DS1006_COMP), (1) Multi Channel A/D board (#DS2003), (1) Connector Panel 2003 (#CP2003), (1) High Speed A/D Board (#DS2004), (1) Connector Panel 2004 (#CP2004) to upgrade the existing dSPACE control system originally purchased from dSPACE. dSPACE control systems are currently in use within NASA GRC laboratories and this procurement will allow the parts to be interchangeable ensuring there is no interruption in service or support. NASA/GRC intends to purchase the items from dSPACE INCORPORATED, 50131 PONTIAC TRAIL, WIXOM, MI 48393-2020. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on September 1, 2014. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable.
