Description
Repair of AN/MPN-14K Mobile Ground Approach System Antenna. SOL FA8119-14-R-0024, PR FD2030-13-02529. AFSC/PZAAB TINKER AFB OK 73145-3015. A firm fixed-price, Requirements-type contract is contemplated with one basic year and four, one year options for the repair of AN/MPN-14K Mobile Ground Approach System Antenna. Item 0001: NOUN: Antenna, NSN 5985-00-660-9975, P/N: 84101. BEQ as follows: 3 EA Basic Year; 3 EA OPT I; 2 EA OPT II; 2 EA OPT III; 3 EA OPT IV. DELIVERY: 3 EA every 120 DARO. Early delivery is acceptable. Item 0002: NOUN: Antenna, NSN 5985-00-660-9975, P/N: 84101. One time TT&E for 6 ea. DELIVERY: Proposal to be submitted within 30DARO. Early delivery is acceptable. Item 0003: NOUN: Antenna, NSN 5985-00-660-9975, P/N: 84101. Onetime repair of 6 ea. DELIVERY: 6 EA 120 DARO. Early delivery is acceptable. Item 0004: O&A If required- TBN. Item 0005: Data and Reports IAW CDRLs and DIDs. Applicable to AN/MPN-14K Mobile Ground Approach System. Destination: Tinker Air Force Base OK 73145-3032. Description: The antenna radiates and receives Airborne Surveillance Radar (ASR) system pulsed Radio Frequency (RF) energy. Dimensions: 120 inches long by 79 inches wide by 48 inches high. Weight 653 lbs. Material: Light weight plastic honeycomb and aluminum. Qualification requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be thirty (30) days after issue. The anticipated award date will be sixty (60) days after solicitation closes. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation through FedBizOpps at http://www.eps.gov/. Approved Sources are Exelis Inc., Van Nuys CA 91406. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. Note: The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty five-days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
