Description
Amendment 001 North End Culverts 2014 C-1 - PROJECT DECRIPTION AND LOCATION (a) Project Description. The work at Pink Creek consists of removing an existing 48" CMP and placing a 71" X 47" CMP on Pink Creek Road, NFSR 7950. Riprap will be hauled and placed at inlet and outlet of pipe. Contractor will be allowed to work Monday thru Friday, with typical work hours between 7AM and 5PM. Contractor may ask for a variance in hours from the Contracting Officer. No work will be performed on Holidays. Contractor is required to control traffic per MUTCD Standards with flaggers when necessary. Campground and boatramp area will be closed during paving operations. Closures will only be permitted Monday through Thursday and for a maximum of 4 days. The work at Gray Creek consists of removing an existing 24" CMP and placing a 36" CMP on Gray Creek Road, NFSR 3500. Riprap will be hauled and placed at inlet and outlet of pipe. Contractor will be allowed to work Monday thru Friday, with typical work hours between 7AM and 5PM. Contractor may ask for a variance in hours from the Contracting Officer. No work will be performed on Holidays. Contractor is required to control traffic per MUTCD Standards with flaggers when necessary. Pink Creek - From Eureka Ranger Station travel south on highway 93 approximately 1.5 miles to the junction of Pinkham Creek Road, NFSR 856. Follow NFSR 856 approximately 17.5 miles to the junction with of Pink Creek Road NFSR 7950, follow NFSR 7950 approximately 1.3 miles to project site. Gray Creek is located approximately 35 miles South of Eureka, Montana. From Eureka Ranger Station travel south on highway 93 approximately 1.5 miles to the junction of Pinkham Road, NFSR 856. Follow NFSR 856 approximately 17.5 miles to the junction with of Pink Creek Road NFSR 7950, follow NFSR 7950 approximately 1.3 miles to project site. (b) Pre-Bid Conference and Tour. A pre-bid conference or tour will not be conducted. Prospective bidders are encouraged to visit the project site prior to submitting a bid. (c) Start Work. It is estimated that the Notice to Proceed will be issued about September 15, 2014. (d) Period of Performance. The Contractor shall complete the entire project ready for use not later than 21 days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. The time stated for completion shall include final cleanup of the premises. (f) Price Range. Below $25,000
