Description

Request for Quote Template Evaluation Criteria Statement of Objectives This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the following commercial items: CLIN 0001: 100 ft Pantograph and installation CLIN 0002: Freight This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Submit only written quotations for RFQ A-FY14-MXS, Pantograph Refueling Tube. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-69. The associated NAICS code is 332911 with a 500 employees size standard to be considered a small business. This requirement is not a small business set-aside. The required delivery date is NLT 30 January 2015. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) IAW FAR 52.204-7 to be eligible for award. FOB: Destination for delivery to 28th Maintenance Squadron, Attn: MSgt Patrick McDermont, Ellsworth AFB SD 57706. The contractor must provide all required equipment, materials and instal the pantograph as described in the Statement of Objectives (SOO) in Attachment 1. A proposal of how the contractor will meet the needs specified in the SOO must be submitted with the price to be considered responsive. Drawings and specifications as applicable are encouraged. A site visit is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, September 3rd, 2014. Estimated time is 10:00am. Attendance at the site visit is NOT mandatory to provide a proposal, however, if you like to attend, contact thomas.kuhfahl@us.af.mil NLT 0800 on Tuesday, September 2nd 2014 so arrangements can be made for installation access. All questions must be submitted in writing to thomas.kuhfahl@us.af.mil and cindy.fedorkowicz@us.af.mil by 4:00pm MST on Wednesday 3 September 2014. Questions will be answered in writing and posted as an amendment to the solicitiation by 4:00pm MST Thursday 4 September 2014. All responsible sources may submit a quote to be considered. Interested firms are responsible for monitoring www.FBO.gov frequently for any amendments to any and all documents. All quotes must be submitted via email to thomas.kuhfahl@us.af.mil.
