- Description
- Notice of Contract Action (NOCA) for ARC Technologies. The 27th Special Operations Contracting Squadron, Cannon AFB NM, intends to award a Sole-Source contract to QRC Technologies, 1211 Central Park Blvd., Fredericksburg, VA 22401, to provide the following items, to include all shipping to Cannon AFB: • ICS 400 Full Unit with 1 Yr Maint, P/N: Q3510-FULL (QTY: 1 EA) • ICS PBL (Passive Base Station Locator), P/N: Q3106-W (QTY: 1 EA) • Droid Incredible 2 (850/9/18/9 GSM, 850/19 CDMA, 9/21 WCDMA) P/N: Q6001 (QTY: 3 EA) • Qp - Cellular Survey Application, P/N: Q6200 (QTY: 3 EA) The anticipated contract will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Commercial Purchase Order. The statutory authority which permits other than full and open competition for this acquisition is 10 United States Code (USC) 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(i)-(ii) and FAR 13.106-1(b). This authority is supported by an approved Justification and Approval. It is the Government's intent to proceed with this sole-source action. The applicable NAICS code is 334515. This notice neither constitutes a Request for Quote, Invitation for Bid, or Request for Proposal nor does it restrict the Government in any way to an ultimate acquisition approach. However, In accordance with FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Responses may be sent via e-mail to benjamin.crain@us.af.mil or cameron.dungey@us.af.mil. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Air Force not to open the requirement to open competition, based on response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Air Force. If the office has not received any affirmative written responses by 0900 hours on 2 September, 2014 (MST), a Sole Source purchase order will be pursued with QRC Technologies.
