Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, 1481 W. Tenth Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202, intends to negotiate on a sole source procurement under FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source, with Maquet Cardiovascular US Sales LLC dba Maquet Medical Systems USA, 45 Barbour Pond Drive, Wayne NJ 07470, for the procurement of: Endo vessel harvest system, dissection cannula bisector, Trocar, insufflation tubing, (stk#VH3000) estimated 70 each and Heartstring III System, proximal seal kit, loader device, delivery device, disposable, 4.3Mm aortic cutter (stk#HSK3043), estimated 32 each, to be delivered during the period 10/1/2014-9/30/2015. NAICS 334510 applies. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents shall be posted and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any manufacturer that determines it can meet the requirements may provide written notice via email to joyce.miller@va.gov prior to 9/22/2014 @ 10:00 AM EDST/EDT. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to meet the subject requirement(s). This information shall be provided at no cost or obligation to the Government. All responses received will be evaluated. However, the information received will be used solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement and is at the sole discretion of the Contracting Officer.
