Description

J&A BN274 Notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, US Coast Guard Base Boston intends to award a firm fixed price order to Rolls Royce Marine North America Inc, St Rose LA 70087 for the procurement of training for eight USCG students on familiarization, maintenance, and fault diagnosis of the Kamewa FF375S water jets installed on USCG Response Boat Medium (RBM). Rolls Royce is the manufacturer of FF375 jet drive. Parts and service procedures are proprietary. Award will be made in accordance with Federal Acquisition Procedures (FAR) Part 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source. The requirement will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures per FAR 13. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to perform the requirement and access to the proprietary information no later than 27 Aug 2014. Information received by will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. A Determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the Government.
