Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Richard L. Roudebush, VA Medical Center, 1481 W. 10th Street, Indianapolis, IN.-Intent to Sole source procurement under authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source, with Managed Emergency Surge for Healthcare, 3930 Georgetown Rd., Indianapolis, IN, 46254-2406 to provide membership into the program for one year. Membership is with Central Indiana Emergency Preparedness Coalition and provides the VA preparedness and planning services, education and training programs, healthcare intelligence analysis services, and legal, regulatory, policy and financial services as they relate to emergency preparedness. The proposed action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. The Government believes that only one responsible source can provide the services that will satisfy the agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone request will not be accepted. However, any qualified vendor that determines it can meet the government's requirements may give written notification through e-mail to Contract Specialist, calynda.baines3@va.gov, by August 26, 2014, 9:00AM EST. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with requirements at no cost or obligation to the government, however the information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no responses are received, the VA Medical Center, Indianapolis, IN will proceed to sole source this requirement to Managed Emergency Surge for Healthcare.
