Description
The NF/SG Veterans Health System maintains an annual service contracts on the FUJI Medical Radiology Imaging equipment throughout the NF/SG Veterans Health System. The contract will be for annual preventative maintenance and repair on FUJI imaging equipment located in the Radiology department. NF/SG Veterans Health System is looking for information from prospective offer's in accordance with the below DRAFT statement of work. This request for information (RFI) is intended to collect information regarding available technical support capabilities for Fuji imaging equipment. This RFI is for information purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. NF/SG VHS does not intend to award a contract based on this RFI. This is for planning purposes only. NF/SG VHS intends to issue a solicitation based on the results from this RFI. The government will not pay for any information received during this "sources sought" posting. Background: The NF/SG Veterans Health System maintains an annual service contracts on the Fuji Medical Radiology Imaging equipment throughout the NF/SG Veterans Health System. Objective: This service contract is an annual preventative maintenance and repair on Fuji Imaging equipment located in the Radiology department. This service contract is to ensure safe and reliable medical equipment while meeting all safety requirements, industry standards and regulations. This shall be completed to ensure maximum uptime with minimal impact on patient care. Scope of Work: Scheduled Preventative Maintenance and Emergency repairs to be conducted to ensure all medical equipment is operating with in manufacturer's specifications and functioning at maximum efficiency. oVELOCITY T/U with tube coverage oSIEMENS X-RAY CONSOLE o2 SIEMENS X-RAY GENERATORS oDELL GX745 COMPUTER oFuji GO Portable and tube coverage oAll IIP computers and upgrades o2- XG-5000s (PM coverage only) Data/Deliverables: oMaintain a uptime commitment of 98% oOne hour telephone response and 4 hour onsite response for hard down systems oAnnual preventative maintenance inspection oProvide remote technical assistance to repair problems in the system oModify software programming during schedule visits to resolve problems encountered by the Operators oPerform Software Analysis & Optimization each site visit oAutomation Control Analysis & Optimization every year oOperator Training as necessary during scheduled visits oFirmware Updates performed to keep the system operating with the latest software oProvide regular software updates oSoftware Backups are to be performed whenever system modifications are made oVisual inspection of electronic components oWritten report of all findings and recommendations provided to customer within five business days. Qualifications/Certifications: oThe contractor shall be technically trained on the Radiology equipment and have the required levels of professional and technical experience to perform the work required by this statement of work. A certificate of Fuji technical training completion by the Field Service Engineer may be requested at any time during the contract. Safety Regulations: oAll applicable safety regulations shall be observed during all work of this contract. oThe VA Safety Officer shall have full authority to see that the contractor obeys all safety rules and regulations relative to the fulfillment of this contract. Scheduling and Hours of Work: oAll work in areas involved shall be scheduled with the Supervisor of Biomedical Engineering (or designee) and the staff in the Radiology/Nuclear Medicine areas. oAll contractors must first sign in at the Biomedical Engineering Office. oField engineer onsite coverage will be Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm Questions should be addressed in writing until 8/25/2014 via email directly to Carol.McNeill@va.gov. Questions received will be answered by amendment to solicitation before the due date. Your responses are required by 8/26/2014 at 2 pm EST. No phone calls will be accepted.
