Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement signifies request for quotes issuance. Indiana National Guard intends to award a firm fixed price contract and will utilize procedures under FAR parts 13 and 15. This solicitation document with incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-66. The clauses and provisions referenced in this solicitation appear in full text format at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/ The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 332618. The small business size standard is 500 personnel. The Indiana Army National Guard (IN-ARNG) has a requirement for caging and lockers at Rensselaer Armory located 1117 E Grace St, Rensselaer, IN 47978. The IN-ARNG expects vendors to offer four steel caged enclosures with duffle bag lockers for over 60 Service Members. The enclosure's partitions shall go from the ceiling to the floor providing division between each areas and security to its contents. The vendor is required to deliver and install the caging offered. Caging sizes vary from location to location within the Armory. The Indiana National Guard shall not provide measurements and diagrams. Contractor: Provide the materials, labor and equipment to fabricate and install a storage area caging system Consist of four caged enclosures There shall be four hinged doors. All doors shall incorporate simple hasp type receivers for pad lock. The cage screen panels have be of woven welded wire mesh. The grid of the panels shall run in a horizontal /vertical configuration. Anchor screens and framing to the concrete floor with wedge anchors. Haul trash and debris off-site. Dumpsters will not be provided. Upon delivery of material, labor is required to off load. Site Visit However, all vendors/offerors are encouraged to attend a site visit on 3 September 2014 at 10:30 a.m. EST. RSVP by 2 September 2014 at 4:30 pm by email. This site visit is not mandatory per the following provision: 52.237-1 Site Visit No other authorized site visits. The intent of the Site Visit is as follows: a) To provide opportunity to take measurements b) To orient potential contractor to the locations of work c) To become familiar with the existing structures d) To become aware of any personnel For more details, click on the link marked quote mark additional documentations quote mark.
