- "A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP <https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP> on the same issue date cited in the solicitation. Choose the RFP you wish to download. Solicitations are in portable document format (PDF). To download and view these documents you will need the latest version of Adobe Arobat Reader. This software is available free at http://www.adobe.com <http://www.adobe.com>. A paper copy of the solicitation will not be available to requestors. The RFP-solicitation issue date 09/05/2014 and respond due date 10/06/2014. This requirement was authorized by purchase request 0053496556; solicit as Unrestricted for approved sources of supply. A Request for Proposal (RFP), SPE4A7-14-R-2869 was issued to establish a Definite Quantity Firm Fixed Price type contract; on NSN 1630-01-114-9760, Disc, Brake for 2126 each. Item is not Critical Application, neither is commercial item. Item is Configuration controlled and Export Controlled does not applies. Item production requirement is in accordance with Part Number-5003973 and PN: 159-02000 requirements. The need arrival date (NAD) is 09/25/2014; with an estimated award date (EAD) on 11/7/2014. Based on the NAD-EAD the time yields a number less than 60 days, therefore, the acquisition specialist utilized a 25% reduction of the historical PLT (367) as the delivery objective for 275 days for production. A Government FAT Testing required on 1 each at 60 days after received order with 30 days for Government Test/Evaluation requirement for 365 Days total. Production to be delivers at FOB Point @ Origin with Inspection & Acceptance at Origin. Progress Payments are not authorized for this purchase. Reverse Auction for final proposal revision and price validity; IAW DLAD Provision 52.215-9023 /L15C11
