Description

This solicitation VA246-14-Q-1109 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Award will be made using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.5 Test Program. No telephone requests will be accepted. Only completed SF1449 Solicitations received directly from the requester are acceptable. It is the Offeror's responsibility to ensure that the quote is received. The anticipated award date is October 1, 2014. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 325120. This action is set aside to Women Owned Small Businesses (WOSB) which encompasses Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned Small Business (EDWOSB). If offeror has a FSS/GSA contract, please include it in your offer. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Beckley, WV, is seeking delivery of Bulk Liquid Oxygen for the period of October 1, 2014 through September 30, 2015, with a possibility of four options years. Two government-owned tanks, 500 and 300 gallons with backup cylinders with a 46,800 cf capacity are located behind Building 1 at the VA Medical Center, Beckley, WV. Access is limited due to underground pipes, requiring the use of a Dual Wheeled; Single Axle Truck (MUST NOT EXCEED 5500 GVW (Gross Vehicle Weight).
