- Description
- Questions & Answers: 1. Will you make the acquisition through GSA Schedule only or will direct contract be also considered? No 2. Items 1,2,3,4 appear to be part of a wide area network (WAN) concentrating at the DEA main office at Millennium Park Plaza. Is that correct? Yes 3. At Millennium Park Plaza you are asking for two separate Internet transport and ports (items 6 and 7). Do you need them to be from different transport networks (network diversity; i.e. one from Verizon and the other from AT&T)? No 4. Item 5 calls for a 5 MBPS wireless dedicated point-to-point circuit from San Juan to St. Thomas. What are the locations of each terminating point? Do you require a pure wireless connection with dedicated microwave repeaters or do you allow the local loop to be microwave and the core to be fiber and microwave to construct the P2P link? It is our understanding that a microwave path can't be constructed form the DEA San Juan office to the DEA St. Thomas office without repeaters. The terminating point is the St. Thomas office. DEA allows the local loop to be microwave and the core to be fiber and microwave. 5. Item 0009: Voice Line - Aguadilla, PR: Does this have to be a business main line provided by the Incumbent Local Exchange Carrier or do you accept a VoIP line via the same fiber transport terminating in Aguadilla location? Yes, this must be a business main line non-VoIP. 6. Item 0010: ISDN PRI Fiber optics dedicated circuit with voice tone for Avaya IP Office Phone - Aguadilla: Do you accept the ISDN PRI to be provided using as transport to the Aguadilla location the same fiber cable used for the 10 MBPS Internet access or do you require the transport to be provided by a separate cable using a separate network? The same fiber cable is accepted. 7. Are Items 13, 14, 15, and 16 to be provided by a single microwave radio antenna or do you require four separate antennas, one for each service? What is the other terminating location at the other end for the WAN for the St. Croix wireless link, Aguadilla or Millenium Plaza? A single microwave antenna. Millenium Plaza. 8. Are Items 17 and 18 to be provided by a single microwave radio antenna or do you require two separate antennas, one for each service? What is the other terminating location at the other end for the WAN for the St. Croix wireless link, Aguadilla or Millenium Plaza? A single microwave antenna. Millenium Plaza. 9. Are LATs/LONGs available for the addresses? No 10. Is SIP trunking accepted? No
