Description

Reference Drawing Package General Requirements- This is a Request for Information from SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory for the following services; 1. Remove existing fifteen each "K" substations and install owner-furnished replacement substations in accordance with Part 1 General requirements as included in LINAC KSub Replacement - RFI Submittal document (attached). Reference drawing package also attached. 2. Construction schedule is planned to commence October 3, 2016 and complete no later than March 1, 2017. Respondent is requested to comment on ability and feasibility to complete removal/installation of all Ksubs in 4 months and in 5 months. Construction schedule plan for these durations to be included in ROM pricing request below. 3. A Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) pricing is requested as part of the response to this RFI: ROM pricing to include both (i) total price for removal/installation of all substations and (ii) total price for removal/installation of substations K2 and K3 only. ROM pricing to include both 4 and 5 month construction durations. Responses to this RFI will support SLAC infrastructure budget planning estimates. Formal solicitation activities will not commence until February 2016, earliest. Please provide your responses, inquiries and questions to the attention of the Primary Point of Contact. This is not a Request for Proposal and no subcontracts will be issued as a product of this RFI
