- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FARSubpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice The solicitation number is W912L7-14-Q-0516 and is issued as an request for proposal (RFP), unless otherwise indicated herein.The solicitationdocument and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-76. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is333318 with a small business size standard of 1,000.00 employees. This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids. This solicitation will end on September 19, 2014 at 4 PM Central Time. The Tennessee Army National Guard is requesting maintenance plan for their family of Raydon Virtual Trainers. The Maintenance Plan shall consist of a BASE YEAR plus 2 Option Years. Equipment to be included in the maintenance plan: (3) Virtual Convoy Operations Trainers (VCOT C3), twelve (12) Unstabilized Gunnery Trainer - Crew (UGT-C) and twelve (12) Table Top Trainer for Bradley ODS-SA (TFT-ODS SA) used to conduct stabilized and un-stabilized crew gunnery and collective convoy training. CLIN 0001- BASE YEAR (SEE PWS for level of maintenance required) CLIN 0002- OPTION PERIOD 1 (SEE PWS for level of maintenance required) CLIN 0003- OPTION PERIOD 2 (SEE PWS for level of maintenance required) PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE shall start of day of contract award, and continue one year from that date. Option periods will follow in consecutive years. Options are subject to be exercised at the government's discretion and do not bind the government into contract unless option is exercised. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The existence of the ombudsman does not affect the authority of the program manager, contracting officer, or source selection official. Further, the ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals, the source selection process, or the adjudication of protests or formal contract disputes. The ombudsman may refer the interested party to another official who can resolve the concern.
