- FA5270-14-Q-A094 Modular Cabinets 1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items and services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation FA5270-14-Q-A094 is being issued as a Request for Quotation. This notice and the incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). All responsible sources may submit a proposal. 2. This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 05-72, 25 July 2014. 3. The Government contemplates an award of a Firm Fixed Priced purchase order resulting from this solicitation. This requirement will be for full and open competition, there is no small business set-aside. 4. Interested vendors may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform this service in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 16:00PM JST (Japan Standard Time), 1 September 2014. See attachment for a description, quantities, and units of measure for the items to be acquired. This combined synopsis & solicitation notice is a request for competitive quotations. Therefore, all capability statements or quotations received prior to the RFQ close date will be considered by the FCC. 5. The Government will award a single purchase order contract resulting from this RFQ to the responsible offeror whose offer represents the best value in terms of price to the government. 6. All questions should be directed to TSgt Kyla McKnight at kyla.mcknight@us.af.mil. Offers for this requirement are due no later than 16:00PM JST (Japan Standard Time), 1 September 2014. It is the vendor's responsibility to monitor the FBO system for amendments issued in reference to this requirement. All Contractors who provide goods/services to the DOD must be registered in the SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM). Online Certifications and Representations are also required. Failure to comply with SAM registration may deem offeror ineligible for award.
