- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes solicitation SPE4A514R1237; that proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will be issued for PR 0053735879. This solicitation will contain NSN 1650-03-393-5080, TRANSFORMER,LINEAR and will be solicited for award of a Firm Fixed Priced Contract under FAR Part 12 for Commercial Acquisitions. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Please complete the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this Acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. This NSN is a commercial item of a type, part numbered item and the approved sources are: 60029 WOODWARD, INC. DBA WOODWARD HRT 3151-716 Solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis utilizing other than full and open competitive procedures. The purchase request quantity is 570 each. No Quantity Option applies. Quantity variance is plus/minus 0%. Delivery: FOB Origin, Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. The required delivery is 30 DARO. This is not a Critical Safety Item (CSI). The final contract award decision will be based upon a combination of price and past performance. Subcontracting plan is not required as the applicable threshold is not expected to be breached. EEO clearance is not required as the dollar threshold is not expected to be breached. Certified Cost or Pricing data is not required as this is a commercial item. Progress Payments are not included as the conditions at FAR 32.501-2(c) have not been met. The solicitation issue date is August 20 th 2014. The closing date is September 3 rd 2014. This solicitation includes provision 52.215-9023, Reverse Auction. Since a Reverse Auction may be conducted, offerors are encouraged to access the ProcureX system to self-register and review the available training tools at: dla.procurexinc.com to learn more about how to participate in an auction. Offerors who do not self-register will be loaded at the time of auction by DLA.
