- SOLICITATION FOR SERVICE TLAB14-100 This solicitation is for service to be provided on our site. Any questions, please provide in writing, and all questions will be answered after consulting with our lab group. We prefer to use a local company in radious of 100 miles. However, if your company is outside of this radious, I need to know a final quote including travel cost. The contractor is to perform all work in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local building construction and health codes. All work is to conform to applicable OSHA, ANSI and ASTM standards / regulations. Removal and disposal of all related construction materials must meet all Federal, State, and Local regulations. The contractor is to adhere to the specifications provided by the Institution. Additionally the contractor must strictly adhere to all Institutional security procedures at all times Security Requirements All contractors will be required to complete security forms for background investigations. It is at the discretion of the local chief of security (Captain) as to if a person will be authorized access to the facility. If your work requires entry into the secured portion of the facility you will be subject to search and you will be required to pass through and clear a metal detector. All tools will be required to be inventoried and stored in accordance to local institutional policies. Authorization to store tools in a secured job box will be at the discretion of the captain. Should an institutional emergency arise while you are on site you are to follow the directions of the institutional staff. This may require that you vacate the site. Should inclimate weather develop your access to the site may be denied until conditions improve and you are cleared to enter by the local custody staff.
