- Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Note: Please see attachments to view this combined synopsis/solicitation in its entirety. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation FDA-SOL-1132872 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-76. This requirement is being solicited under full and open competition using Simplified Acquisition Procedures per FAR Subpart 13. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541940, with a small business size standard of $7.5M. The U. S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA), Office of Acquisitions and Grant Services (OAGS) is seeking to purchase animal feed or diagnostic sample testing in cases involving consumer complaints regarding illness related to an animal feed product. Specifically, cases which are being investigated by the Vet-LIRN network in support of FDA's efforts in outbreak investigations of animal feed contamination. RFQ Due Date: All quotations shall be submitted electronically via email to Tomeka.Evans@fda.hhs.gov before 4:30 Eastern Time on August 29, 2014.
