Description

SYNOPSIS: THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT TO RAISE AWARENESS FOR POTENTIAL OFFERORS. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR OFFERS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. Please reference Request for Quotation (RFQ) number VA791-14-Q-0082. The Department of Veterans Affairs Denver Acquisition & Logistics Center (VA DALC), in support of the Veteran Health Administration is contemplating the issuance of a solicitation for water testing services. OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE: The objective of this procurement is to award BPA(s) with qualified vendors to provide Water Testing Services to support VA Dental and Dialysis Services. CONTRACTING OFFICE ADDRESS: Denver Acquisition and Logistic Center, 555 Corporate Circle, Golden, CO 80401. SOLICITATION DETAILS: The North American Classification Codes is 621511 and the Small Business Size Standard is $32.5M. This is a small business set-aside procurement for any and all qualified, experienced, and knowledgeable small business entity(s) who can meet the requirements. The Government intends to establish multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements with qualified vendors. Solicitation documents are expected to be made available no later than 5 September 2014 at the FedBizOpps website at http://www.fbo.gov. NO HARD COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED. The anticipated closing date is 19 September 2014 and anticipated award date is 29 September 2014. The Contracting Officer for this acquisition is Brandon Maness. Offerors interested in responding to this solicitation should provide their email addresses and contact information to Brandon.maness@va.gov. The only terms and conditions that will apply to the solicitation and any resultant contract shall come from the Contracting Specialist/Officer through the release of the final RFQ and any amendments, information received from other than the Contracting Officer to include other VA sources, are not binding on the VA. NOTE: Effective October 1, 2003, all contractors must be registered through the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) website as an active contractor in order to be eligible to enter into a contract. The CCR website is now part of the System for Award Management (SAM), which is found at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM. Please be sure your company is registered at this website. Prospective offerors should complete electronic annual representations and certifications, which is also part of the SAM. Due to the limited time offerors have to respond you are encouraged, but not required, to register in advance. This announcement is not a request for proposal or quotation and does not bind the Government to award any contract.
