Description
Solicitation for Cable Infrastructure Supplies FUNDS THIS REQUEST FOR QUOTATION IS TO OBTAIN PRICING FOR ITEMS WHICH ARE NOT FUNDED ATHIS TIME, BUT HAVE REQUESTED TO RECEIVE FUNDING THIS FISCAL YEAR THROUGH FALL OUT FUNDS, PRIOR TO 30 SEPTEMBER 2014. YOUR QUOTE MUST REMAIN IN EFFECT UNTIL THIS DATE. THEREFORE, NO AWARD WILL BE MADE UNDER THIS QUOTE UNTIL FUNDS A RE AVAILABLE. THE GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THIS QUOTE BEFORE 30 SEPTEMBER 2014. FAR 52.212-2, EVALUATION - COMMERCIAL ITEMS (JAN 1999). Paragraphs (a) thru (c) are modified to read as follows: (a) The Government will award contract(s) resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will provide the best value to the Government, price and other factor considered. The price evaluation will be made on the basis of the total price of all 15 items. Single award will result from this evaluation. An offeror must therefore propose on all 15 items. Failure to do may be excluded from consideration for award. The Government intends to make award to the Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) offeoror. The Government intends to award without discussions with repective offerors. The Government, however, reserve the right to conduct discussions if deemed in its best interest. The following listed are evaluation factors that shall be used in the evaluation process: 1. Price 2. Technical Acceptability: Technical acceptability is met when the offeror provides proof (i.e., products brochures and/or product catalog data) that the products meet the characteristics for equal items when submitting equal items. (b) A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer, mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Before the offer's specified expiration time, the Government may accept an offer (or part of an offer), whether or not there are negotiations after its receipt, unless a written notice of withdrawal is received before award.
