THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. The Kansas City VA Medical Center is seeking small business manufacturers of research microscopes of the following types: 1.Modular Routine Stereo Microscope with 8:1 Zoom ratio 2.Automated upright microscope system for life science research and materials analysis with automated transmitted light. 3.Automated upright microscope system for life science research and materials analysis with automated transmitted light and fluorescence axis. Contractor must be the manufacturer of the required equipment and must be a small business. This requirement is assigned a NAICS code of 334516 with a business size standard of 500 employees. Please respond if you are a small business manufacturer of research microscopes. No quotes are being solicited. This sources sought is for planning purposes only. This Sources sought is for informational purposes. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to any future solicitation announcements.
