- Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center ? Atlantic (SSC$B!>(BLANT), Charleston, SC, intends to extend the period of performance for Contract N65236-07-D-6880 from 7 September 2014 to 6 September 2015 to permit the continuity of services to meet current and immediate future demands of the Air Traffic Control (ATC) Sub-Portfolio at SSC Atlantic and its customers. This action is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of the work required would be advantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this contract period of performance extension based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Written comments or questions regarding this notice must be emailed to the Contracting Officer, Angela Carter, at angela.e.carter@navy.mil no later than 28 August 2014.
