- This is a Sources Sought Notice. This notice is posted for the purpose of market research only. Information gained from as a result of this solicitation will be used for planning purposes. Mission Installation Contracting Command, (MICC) Joint Base Lewis McChord (JBLM) is seeking a source for an In-Car-Video Recording System. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code selected for this procurement is but, not limited to 334310 Audio and Video Equipment Manufacturing with a size standard of 750 employees. MICC-JBLM will determine set-aside requirements based on industry responses. The following list is an approximate scope for this requirement, to include but not limited to: In-car video recording system suitable for use by law enforcement personnel Associated hardware for system to be mounted into police vehicles, to include multiple cameras. Switched and pre-set triggers that initiate video recording based on actions GPS information gathered and overlaid with video In-car video system wireless audio system compatible with Stalker radar systems. System should utilize standard wireless technologies (cell, 3G, 4G, Wi-Fi, etc) to convey recorded video information to remote ( quote mark cloud quote mark ) based servers hosted by the contractor. Any video content retrieved from the cloud storage system must be admissible as evidence in federal and military courts under all relevant legal rules, including but not limited to those contained in the Federal Rules of Evidence, the Military Rules of Evidence, the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure, the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, and the Rules for Courts-Martial. Cloud service providers must collect, maintain, and provide access to any information necessary to establish an evidentiary foundation for the admission of video content retrieved from the cloud storage system. Stored video to be web-accessible in real time from alternate computer locations Any response to this sources sought must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. In doing so, interested sources must submit technical capabilities, pricing, and other information that demonstrates their ability to meet the Governments needs no later than 5:00 p.m. CST, Wed, Aug, 20 2014 by email to marisol.rodriguez57.mil@mail.mil. This sources sought is not considered a request for bid/quote/proposal. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests for technical Information will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on a basis of offers received in response to this notice, but offers will be used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to the Government.
