- Description
- The Air Force Life Cycle Management, Air Dominance Division, AMRAAM Production and Sustainment Branch, intends to solicit and award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to Raytheon Missile Systems, 1151 E Hermans Road, Tucson, AZ, 85756, to perform follow-on efforts for the technical support of the Air Dominance Division AMRAAM activities. This includes providing materials, facilities, test equipment, and engineering and management services to support AMRAAM production and AMRAAM requirements in various areas of systems engineering (e.g., engineering studies and analyses), software (e.g., correction of deficiencies), flight and ground test (e.g., live fire test and ground test support, and subsequent analyses, and special test vehicle support, at CONUS and OCONUS locations), and logistics (e.g., support to missile inspections). The only known responsible source that can satisfy this requirement is Raytheon Missile Systems because they possess the required type of knowledge that could only be gained by years of experience in applying skills to the specific AMRAAM missile design, specific and detailed knowledge, and experience with AMRAAM software, missile design, special test assets and U.S. Government simulation facilities. The ceiling value is $600,000.00. This contract is anticipated to begin 1 October 2014 and have a 2 month ordering period, with a total maximum 12 month period of performance. FAR 5.207(c)(15)(ii) requires that all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. All responses must be received 15 calendar days after the date of post. AFFAR 5352.201-9101 is applicable to this procurement. The AFLCMC Ombudsman is Ms. Jill Willingham, AFLCMC/AQP, 1790 10th Street, Bldg. 572, Rm 209B, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH 45433-7630, (937) 255-5472, jill.willingham@us.af.mil. Communication concerning this acquisition should be directed to Donna McDonald, Contract Specialist, at (850) 883-0354 (donna.mcdonald.1@us.af.mil), or Patricia A. Chisholm, Contracting Officer, at (850) 883-4952 ( patricia.chisholm@us.af.mil ).
