Description

This is a Pre-solicitation notice only; no proposals are being requested at this time. The purpose of this notice is to announce that the Veterans Affairs Long Beach Healthcare System (VALBHS), 5901 East Seventh Street, Long Beach, CA 90822, has a requirement for the provision of Emergency Department (ED) staffing and clinical oversight in the VALBHS ED. The contractor shall provide 100% staffing and clinical oversight to the VALBHS ED twenty-four (24) hours per day, three-hundred sixty-five (365) days per year, in accordance with the specifications outlined in the impending solicitation. Requirement will be solicited for a base year and four (4) one-year option periods. This requirement shall be procured under the authority of 38 U.S.C. 8153, and be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12, FAR Part 15, and VAAR 873. The NAICS code is 621111, Offices of Physicians (except Mental Health Specialists), Size Standard is $11.0 Million. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted to www.fbo.gov on or about August 20, 2014. All questions regarding the solicitation shall be emailed to Sandra Fusco at Sandra.Fusco@va.gov by the due date listed in the solicitation. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining and downloading all solicitation related documents from www.fbo.gov and that in order to be eligible for award, they must have current registration in the System for Award Management at www.sam.gov.
