- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a sole source contract to Raytheon Missile Systems, Tucson, AZ for Repair of Repairable (RoR) efforts for the Joint Standoff Weapon (JSOW). It is anticipated that the resultant contract shall be Cost plus Fixed-Fee (CPFF). The work performed under this effort consists of (a) Remove and Replace (R&R) components of seven (7) JSOW weapons; (b) Provide ROM pricing of five (5) JSOW weapons; (c) Repair nine (9) CNU-672/E containers; (d) Provide all program management, systems engineering, and administrative support to execute the aforementioned tasks and provide a monthly status report to the PMA-201 JSOW APML. Unless otherwise stated herein, no formal request for proposal or additional written information is currently available. Request for same will be disregarded. A determination by the Government not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. This synopsis is published for information purposes only. (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS). Raytheon Missile Systems (RMS) is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of JSOW, and as such, is the only known source available with the requisite technical knowledge, experience and tooling to produce the requirements described herein, in order to satisfy the Government's requirement. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for the supplies anticipated needed herein is 336414. IMPORTANT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR INTERESTED PARTIES: There are no commitments by the Government to issue any solicitations, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract for the efforts mentioned above.
