Description
DID NOT CONTACT POSTER CONTACT: Andrea Viegas, andrea.j.viegas.civ@mail.mil, (443)395-1201 The US Army Communications-Electronic Command is conducting a Market Survey to locate potential sources with capability to manufacture, inspect, calibrate and test hardware to fulfill requirements for the A3188124-001 Radio Frequency Power Detector and Cable Assemblies NSN 1430-01-407-6165 originally manufactured by Giga-Tronics, Inc. (CAGE 58900) with manufacturer's part number 80301A. The Government does not own any rights to the technical data that is required to design, develop, or manufacture the RF Detector. These items are used in the modernized Satellite Communication Terminals AN/FSC-78C, AN/GSC-39C and AN/GSC-52A. Product requirements of the RF Dector are described in CECOM specification control drawing, A3188124. A copy of this drawing can be supplied upon written request to Andrea Viegas (e-mail contact below). The contractor shall be required to establish a facility including tools, test equipment, parts, personnel, etc., required to meet the manufacturing requirements of the contract. The drawing does not provide form, fit and function details, or the technical data, which are required to produce these items. The form fit and function of these items are not defined by any nationally recognized industry standard or specification. Interested sources must send a capability statement to The US Army Communications-Electronics Life Cycle Management Command, Attn: Andrea Viegas (e-mail contact below), and response must include the following information: demonstration that that he possesses, or shall possess, the complete technical manufacturing data and technical expertise necessary to produce these items, adequate production plant facilities (equipment, tooling, space) and technical expertise to enable him, or his subcontractors to manufacture these items; company name and CAGE code; address; phone number; point of contact; e-mail address; business size status. All interested sources are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or any administrative costs incurred that are associated with any response received from industry in response to this Market Survey. Therefore, any costs associated with Market Survey/Sources Sought submissions will be solely at the interested source's expense. This Market Survey does not guarantee a contract by the Government.
