- Description
- Market Survey. Sources for Radar Signal Test Adapter, MX-9848A/APR-39(V). US Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Security Assistance Management Directorate (SAMD) is seeking sources able to provide the Radar Signal Test Adapter, MX-9848A/APR-39(V) (NSN 4920-01-279-5446). The Adapter MX-9848A/APR-39(V) is special test equipment (STE) that supports maintenance of AN/APR-39A(V)1, AN/APR-39(V)1, and AN/APR-39(V)2 Radar Signal Detecting Sets (RSDS). The Adapter provides a mechanical test fixture for LRUs being tested. The Adapter wiring harness simulates the AN/APR-39 System wiring in the aircraft, and connects the RSDS Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) as an operating System. The Adapter is used at the Aviation Intermediate Maintenance (AVIM) level to test and troubleshoot Systems and specific System LRUs. Test points on Adapter front panel provide convenient access to voltages and video signals while the AN/APR-39 System is operating. Circuit card extenders provided with the Adapter enable measurement of voltages and signals on Receiver and Processor (or Comparator) CCAs while the AN/APR-39 System is operating. The Adapter operates from +28 V DC bench power. Answering this Market Survey The response should be a brief statement of availability (on shelf, refurbished, or future manufacture, etc.) of the requested item, to include quantities and estimated delivery time.
