Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN 8), Franklin Templeton Building, 140 Fountain Pkwy, Suite 600, St. Petersburg, FL 33716 is currently seeking information from any vendor that can provide the following service. HD and Standard Cable and Secure Broadband Internet Services Background: Contractor shall furnish high definition(HD),standard cable programming, and secure broadband internet to include wireless services to beneficiaries at the Franklin Templeton Building, 140 Fountain Pkwy, Suite 600, St. Petersburg, FL 33716. The contractor shall provide all manpower, equipment, materials, supplies, vehicles, fuel, and supervision necessary to perform all tasks. Coverage is required 24 hours per day, seven days per week, including holidays. Qualifications: The Contractor shall meet all requirements of Federal, State and City code regarding operation of this type of business. The contractor shall be licensed in accordance with guidelines established by Federal, State and local ordinances, with the Manufacturer's Service Manual and Quality Control Manual required for the business. Personnel and Equipment Cable Network Service: The Contractor will provide high definition (HD) or standard cable programming for ten (10) government furnished equipment (televisions) of various sizes and models. Contractor will provide high definition (HD) cable service to two (2) government furnished equipment televisions with a basic or standard programing package to include station: WFLA, WTSP, WFTS, WTVT, CNN, FOX, HLN and CSPAN. Contractor will provide standard cable service for eight (8) government furnished equipment televisions of various sizes and models with a basic or standard programing package to include stations: WFLA, WTSP, WFTS, WTVT, CNN, FOX, HLN and CSPAN. Personnel and Equipment Broadband Internet Access and Wireless LAN services: Contractor will provide broadband internet service and wireless services to one (1) government furnished equipment (router) Contractor shall provide a minimum data transfer (download/upload) speed of 70M X 5Mbps for service.. Contractor will provided access point if necessary to ensure uninterrupted secure wireless signal within building suite. Government floor plan or suite dimensions will be provided at time of government solicitation. Contractor Responsibility - The Contractor shall use commercially reasonable efforts to maintain the Contractor provided and installed equipment, including any cabling, cable modems, related splitters, routers or other items, on Contractors side of the demarcation points used to provide the Services. The Contractor shall provide a telephone number and email address for inquiries and remote problem support for the Services. Hours of Service - Hours of programming coverage is seven (7) days a week, 24 hours a day. Normal hours of service coverage are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding holidays. All services/repairs will be performed during normal hour's coverage unless requested or approved by COR. Federal Holidays observed by the VISN are: New Year's Day Labor Day Martin Luther King Day Columbus Day Presidents Day Veterans Day Memorial Day Thanksgiving Day Independence Day Christmas Day Government Furnished Equipment: Ten (10) televisions of various sizes, one (1) router Interested Vendors The applicable NAICS for this service is 517110. To be considered for this requirement, vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM - https://www.sam.gov) and be identified as a licensed service provider for cable television distribution service and broadband internet service. If a vendor is not currently identified as a licensed service provider, they must be able to successfully register prior to submitting any offer associated with this requirement.
