Description: The Northern Region Contract Office, Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC), Fort Bragg, NC 28310, intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a contract that is Sole Sourced to a Small Business Parata Systems, LLC, 2600 Meridian Parkway, Durham, NC, 27713. The requirement is for seven each, Microsoft Windows 7 update for the Pharmacy Department's Parata Max & Mini robots. No other company can work on the Parata Max & Mini robots without voiding the warranties of the system. Any deviation from the Certificate and Accreditation (CA) and DIACAP Implementation Plans would result in the security posture change and subsequent invalidation of Certificate of Networthiness (CoN) and Authorization to Operate (ATO). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued and is expected to result in the award of a firm-fixed price contract.
