- This is a Sources Sought announcement for planning purposes only. Market research is being conducted to determine if there are businesses that qualify under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 19 with the capabilities and experience to perform the required work described herein. All interested parties are invited to submit a Capabiities Statement, NOT TO EXCEED FIVE PAGES, to include three projects completed within the last 5 years that are relevant to the work. Furthermore, all Capability Statments MUST IDENTIFY THE PROGRAMS UNDER FAR PART 19 THAT APPLY TO THEIR COMPANY and provide a point of contact to each project listed. Electronic versions of your capabiities statment shall not be submitted. Please submit via e-mail to Olivia J. Thorpe, Constract Specialist at thorpe.olivia@dol.gov. NO TELEPHONE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED. The North American Industry Classification System is 541310. Your compnay must be registered with Dun and Bradstreet and have a DUNS # that should be included on your Capability Statement. The original design was completed in September 2011 and bid documets were produced for the procurement of construction services and will be provided to the selected architect/engineer for its review and analyses of SOW. The services will require a review and analyses of the Scope of Work (SOW) and an update of existing documents. Therefore, the US Department of Labor/ETA/OCM is seeking qualified A/E firms to analyze the documents to ensure compliance to all current general building codes. In addition, this scope expands the orginal design and construction administration services to include the complete replacement of roofing systems on Buildings A, B, C, and D. Also added is destructive testings for identifying, assessing, documenting, and quantifying the presence of PCBs that are potentially contained in window and door caulking and substrate; and the presence of asbestos containing materials (ACM) in areas affected by the new work. The project further includes the development of specifications for temporary modular structures necesssary for the phased construction work, and the development of a phased site plan identifying the location of the temporary modular structures required for the varous phases of the project. The temporary modular structures shall be procured, installed, and removed by the general contractor upon completion of the project. Under Federal law, in order to provide services on all procurements, you must be registered in the Federal Government's System for Award data based prior to contract award.
