Description The National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM), plans to procure on a sole source bases with Nikon Instruments Inc. of Melville, New York to provide the delivery and installation of the Nikon Components and accessories as listed below. NCCAM believes that the Nikon components and accessories are the only ones that can fulfill its needs because they are both compatible and within the warranty scope of the existing Nikon FN1 Microscope, Nikon SMZ745 Stereomicroscope and respective software currently utilized at the NCCAM clinical center. The supplies herein are being procured in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures as authorized by FAR Part 13.106-1 (b)(1). The North American Industry Classification System Code is 334516 and the business size standard in 500 employees. Only one award will be made as a result of this solicitation. This will be awarded as a firm fixed price type contract. Period of Performance: Delivery and installation shall be within 30 days of award. It has been determined that there is no opportunity to acquire green products or services under this procurement.
