- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The United States Army Geospatial Center (AGC) intends to enter into a sole source, Cost Plus Fixed Fee, contract with Geographic Information Services, Inc. for the procurement Arlington National Cemetery (ANC) - ANC Mapper Operations & Maintenance (O&M) under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(B). Geographic Information Services, Inc. has a unique understanding of ANC MAPPER O&M. The NAICS code for this requirement is 541512. Any capability statements, proposals, or quotations received by 22 August 2014 will be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement. The anticipated award date is 5 September 2014.
