Description
This is a pre-solicitation notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 5.2. The solicitation documentation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-50 Correction, effective 6 May 2011. The solicitation number is W912CL-14-T-0158 and will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The Government will award a purchase order to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the requirements as stated in this synopsis and is most advantageous to the Government based on the lowest price. The prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Type of Set-aside: The applicable NAICS code is 337127. This requirement will be solicited unrestricted to obtain full and open competition. Description of Requirement: This requirement is for the purchase and installation of 252 auditorium seats to be installed at el Centro de Entrenamiento y Capacitacion para Operaciones de Paz (CECOPAZ) Peru. The approximate room dimensions for installation are 44.4 meters by 14.4 meters (145.8 feet by 47.3 feet). This is a commercial requirement with the salient characteristics to be found in the Statement of Work (SOW). Delivery Schedule: Delivery and installation shall be completed no later than 90 days after the contract has been awarded. Place of Delivery and Performance: The Contractor shall prepare and arrange final transportation of materials the following address: Base de Infanter a Marina Distrito Anc n Km 46 Panamericana Norte, Lima Site Visit: Offerors are urged to inspect the site where the installation of the seats will take place. An organized site visit will be conducted on 13 August 2014 at 9:00 a.m. If interested in visiting the site, contact SMSgt Lopez at 011-51-1-618-2519 to make arrangements. You must have an Identification Card (ID) to enter into the base. Shipping terms are FOB Destination. All submissions regarding this synopsis/solicitation shall be sent to SSG Taylor-Eliou by email at larry.j.tayloreliou.mil@mail.mil no later than 11 August 2014, 12:00 Noon CDT, with a courtesy copy to the Contracting Officer, Velia Pier at velia.pier.civ@mail.mil. It is the Offeror's responsibility to visit this website frequently for updates on this procurement. The Solicitation will be available for download on or about 13 August 2014 from ASFI/FedBizOpps website: http://www.fbo.gov. All notification of changes to this solicitation shall be made through electronic means only. It is the contractor's responsibility to check for any posted changes to the solicitation.
