- Description
- The Department of the Interior, National Park Service, Mount Rainier National Park is soliciting for the installation of new propane-fired forced air heating systems in two (2) National Park Service owned single family dwellings in the Tahoma Woods residential area located in Ashford; and to replace existing propane-fired forced air furnaces in kind at four (4) National Park Service owned residences in the Longmire Historic District. All work will be performed under a single firm-fixed price construction contract, to a single contractor; wages shall be subject to the Davis-Bacon Act. Period of performance for this project is estimated to be 60 days post-award; the completion goal is no later than November 7th, 2014. In accordance with FAR 36.204 the magnitude of this contract is between $25,000 and $100,000. This solicitation is intended to be a "Best Value" procurement with technical capabilities and past experience being equal to price in the selection of the most responsive, responsible offeror. Award may be made to a firm other than that offering the lowest price. Any interested firm shall be able to provide a list of previous jobs showing experience in completion of the work described above. A Pre-Bid site visit will be held for this project on Wednesday August 21st, 09:00 AM. Participants shall meet in the Tahoma Woods employee housing area in front of T-107. Participation in the Pre-Bid site visit is highly recommended as it shall be the responsibility of the offeror to verify all required quantities. Responses shall be due 30 days following issuance of the solicitation. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238220 and the business size is $14 Million. This procurement is set-aside for Small Businesses. All offerors must establish and/or maintain an active registration and have up to date representations and certifications at http://www.sam.gov prior to closing date of this RFQ. The project will be completed in and administered by Mount Rainier National Park.
