Description

The VHA Service Area Office East intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Kent Scientific Inc., for a Physio-Suite Physiological Animal Monitoring software system to be utilized on equipment that currently resides at the VA Medical Center in Gainesville, FL. No other piece of software can be utilized because of the importance of it being compatible with our current equipment. This equipment can only be provided by Kent Scientific. The following items will be purchased: Description Mouse STAT Pulse Oximeter/Heart Rate Monitoring Software and Sensor Module: Mouse Vent Automated Ventilator Module: Right Temp Temperature Monitoring and Homeothermic Controllers / Sensors. A delivery schedule will need to be coordinated and delivered NLT 30 days after date of contract award. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Vendors who wish to identify their interest and capability to provide this equipment as described above, must notify this Contracting Officer at Cheryl.Homison@va.gov, or by telephone at 412-822-3493 NLT August 8th, 2014 E.S.T. Upon receipt of the interested parties' notification, the Contracting Officer will determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement or proceed with sole source negotiations.
