Description
SYNOPSES OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION IAW FAR 5.201 - PROPOSALS ARE NOT REQUESTED AT THIS TIME. PURPOSE: The purpose of this proposed acquisition is to procure Contractor Logistics Support for the C-32A, C-40B, and C-40C fleet of aircraft. The program currently includes (4) C-32A, (2) C-40B and (3) C-40C aircraft stationed at Joint Base Andrews, MD, (1) C-40B aircraft stationed at Joint Base Hickam, HI, (1) C-40B aircraft stationed at Ramstein Air Base(AB), Germany, and (4) C-40C aircraft stationed at Scott Air Force Base (AFB), IL. Additional aircraft and sites/locations could be added/changed/deleted over the life of the contract. The scope of this effort includes Program Management, Contractor Operated and Maintained Base Supply (COMBS), Component (engines, landing gears, auxiliary power units) overhaul, repair and lease, OCONUS Line Maintenance, Depot Maintenance to include C-checks, Unscheduled Drop-in Maintenance and Paint, Modification/Service Bulletin Kits and Support, Contract Field Team Support and other non-routine Over and Above (O&A) tasks and/or materials. It is expected that work not yet specified and/or changed work procedures/specifications/location shall be incorporated throughout the performance of the contract. The Contractor shall perform such added or changed work under line items currently provided in the contract or added to the contract at a later date. If such change would result in an increase or decrease of cost under this contract, an appropriate increase or decrease of the contract price shall be negotiated and evidenced by a supplemental agreement to this contract. Additionally, other Boeing 737/757 aircraft operated or managed by the Government may obtain support and services through this contract on a limited over and above (O&A) basis when approved by the Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO) or Administrative Contracting Officer (ACO). CONTRACT LENGTH: The ordering period under this proposed contract shall be from initial contract award through each exercised option period for a Maximum contract length of 7 years and 4 months unless extended by up to 6 months IAW FAR 52.217-8. The Minimum required performance for this contract is the Base Period/Phase-in of four (4) months. The total ordering period of this contract is subject to the availability of funds. Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation.
