- Description
- Modernization is required to replace aged test equipment that is beyond economical repair. These actions need to be performed simultaneously in order to allow the contractor to provide Life Cycle Cost Control and maintain Test Equipment used for Fire Control Acceptance Testing of VME Modules through July 2015. Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS) Pittsfield, MA. GDAIS is the sole manufacturer of the United States and United Kingdom TRIDENT (II) D5 Strategic Weapon System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort.
