Description

The Department of Network Contracting Office 16, Project Legacy, intends to award a contract using a Justification and Approval using other than full and open competition with Stryker Neurovascular, 47900 Bayside Parkway, Fremont, CA 94538-6515, for the purchase of a Trevo ProVue System, for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Michael E. DeBakey. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the Authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The applicable NAICS code for this acquisition is 339112 with a business size standard of 500. Interested sources may submit technical capabilities and any other information that demonstrates ability to meet the requirements by submitting their interest in writing with complete name, address, telephone and fax numbers, and a point of contact. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Inquiries will only be accepted in writing via email to Samantha.Conger@va.gov. Telephone or voice mail requests will not be accepted. Responses must be received no later than 12:00 PM CST on Monday, August 4, 2014.
