Description
Special Notice N64267-14-T-0232 NSWC Corona, Code MS13 requires multiple test equipment standards to be utilized in the USMC Calibration Lab. These standards will be used in bench testing Instrument Calibration Procedures (ICPs) that will be fielded to active duty Marines. The government intends to award a sole-source, firm fixed priced contract to Gamma Scientific, Inc. This requirement will be awarded on a sole-source bases in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR Part 6.302-1(c). This procurement is commercial item IAW FAR Part 13. No solicitation will be issued but responsible sources may submit inquiries or request for information to graham.m.conlon@navy.mil or by phone at 951-393-5106. THE GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO SOLICIT AND NEGOTIATE WITH ONLY ONE SOURCE UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF FAR 6.302-1 FOR THIS PROCURMENT ACTION. INTERESTED PARTIES MAY IDENTIFY THEIR INTEREST AND CAPABILITY TO RESPOND TO THE REQUIREMENT, OR SUBMIT CAPABILITY STATEMENTS. THIS NOTICE OF INTEREST IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES OR PROPOSALS. 2.0 BACKGROUND NSWC Corona, Code MS13 USMC Calibration Lab is utilized on a continual basis in the certifying ICPs and test methodologies. ICP's are not only provided for test equipment used by the active duty Marine, they are certified to support the calibration lab standards.
