- Pic Kubato Pic MF Combine Pic MF 255 Bid Schedule COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE ISSUED Synopsis: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the Federal Business Opportunities website to ensure that they have the most up to date information about this acquisition. The solicitation number AG-7442-S-14-0024 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and is being conducted as a 100% small business set aside. The North American Classification System Code is 333111; the size standard is 500 employees. This RFQ incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-74. This requirement will be awarded as a commercial item, fixed price purchase order under the procedures at FAR Parts 12 and 13. Description: The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service has a Brand Name or Equal requirement for a fixed price purchase order for the below listed item. The offeror will provide a John Deere 5075E or equivalent tractor for use on offsite planting and field work. If providing an equal, provide the manufacturer and part number of the item so that evaluation of the item can be made. In order to be determined an acceptable equal, minimum specifications that the planter must meet are: 1. Must have diesel engine 75 horse power or greater and no less than 55 horsepower at the PTO. 2. For protection in the field, it must have a climate controlled, sealed cab to protect operator from dust, sun, debris and spray residues/aerosols; as well as a weather band capable radio to monitor weather conditions. 3. Must not exceed 5,500 pounds in total weight or 85 inch wheel base length. 4. Must have MFWD, front wheel assist, or other form of 4 wheel drive to assist pulling tillage implements and planters in the field and loading them on trailers. 5. Must have transmission capable of rapid transfer from forward to reverse either via hydrostatic drive, shuttle gear, or the rapid reverse devise as well as a means of controlling speed for spray applications. 6. Must have R1 type tires to facilitate operation on rough terrain. 7. May have a quick hitch. 8. Must have front end loader with global hook up connections and all necessary hydraulic controls and joy stick. 9. Must have 6 - 100 pound weights and mounting brackets. 10. Must have service available within 30 miles. Please provide quote in accordance with the bid schedule. An evaluation will be made based on best value. The requirement is for 1 tractor to be shipped to Knox City, Texas 79529. Our Agency has equipment that we request trade-in value. Trade-in of the listed equipment are an additive/deductive item meaning that our Agency may reserve the right to trade-in or not to trade-in based on trade-in value proposed, if any. 1.
