Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR PART 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, W912L2-14-T-1017, is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-76. This procurement is a 100% Small Business set-aside IAW FAR 19.502-2 (a). The NAICS code is 337215 and the small business size standard is 500 EMP. In accordance with FAR 52.232-18, Availability of Funds, funds are not currently available for this project. The following commercial items are requested in this solicitation; The 161st Air Refueling Wing (ARW) intends to award a single, firm fixed-price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary to remove and properly dispose of existing lockers, and then install new electronic access aircrew locker system with the following requirements: - 75 pass-through openings with the following dimensions for each interior compartment size: 12 inches wide x 14.5 inches High x 14.5 inches Deep. - Grouping: 75 lockers with biometric access via computer kiosk. - Electronic compartments, open in the back. - 5 Door high cabinets - 75 each - Color: Black - Lockers will consist of welded and riveted assembly, 16 gauge steel. - Doors will be equipped with electronic rotary latch, 16 gauge steel with manual override. - New Locker configuration must fit in the existing area. There will be no expansion of the locker area. - New locker configuration must have the capability to track entrance into the lockers and provide an electronic report of all access into the lockers via a dedicated laptop provided by the contractor. (Note: This computer will not require access to the Air Force Network). Each locker must have a unique and separate code/password in order to gain access to the locker. Basis of Award is Best Value: A quote which represents best value is one that conforms to the Government's Statement of Work at a reasonable and competitive price, and supplies a competitive delivery schedule. The Government has scheduled a site visit for all interested vendors on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at 9:00 AM MST. The site visit will be held at the 161st Air Refueling Wing in Phoenix.
