Description

SOLE SOURCE J AND A The National Archives and Records Administration intends to conduct negotiations on a sole source basis with DIGITAL TRANSITIONS, INC. for purchase of two (2) DT R-Cam (60MB) Dual Spectrum Imaging Systems (multi-spectral camera systems) for digitization of highly damaged Official Military Personnel Records (OMPFs) held at the National Personnel Record Center (NPRC) in St. Louis, MO in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements", 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1). All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, pricing data and other information which shows a bona fide ability to meet this requirement within fifteen (15) calendar days of this notice. No contract award will be made on the basis of information received in response to this notice. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All questions and capability statements regarding this procurement shall be addressed in writing to the Contract Specialist, Kevin Schumacher, at kevin.schumacher@nara.gov.
