Description

DLA Land and Maritime is solicitaiton for an Indefinite Quantity Contract for a toggle switch. The NSN for this item is 5930015806489. The anticipated contract will not exceed 5 years. The contract will have a 3 year base period and 2, one year options for a total of 5 years. The estimated annual demand value for this project is $103,142.48, with a 5 year estiamted value of $515,712.40 and a contract maximum value of $618,854.88. The Government does not possess the technical data, drawings or specifications needed to manfucture this item. Currently the only approved source to manfuacture this item is California Manufacturing (3GFX7). The approved part numebr is CMTC0809SWT. While price will be a significant evaluation factor other factors including past performance and proposed delivery will also be taken into consideration. All responsbile vendors are invited to submit an offer for consideration. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
