Description

This is a Sources Sought only. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is performing market research to determine potential sources for Fuel Storage, Tank Clean Out, and Integrity Test Services for a 30,000 Gallon Boiler Tank at the VA Puget Sound Health Care System (VAPSHCS) American Lake Division, located at 9600 Veterans Drive, Tacoma, WA 98493. There is no solicitation document as this time. The NAICS is 541620 with Small Business size of $15 million. Only firms interested should send their information and/or capability statement and any questions by email to shawn.oneil1@va.gov no later than 4:00 PM Pacific Standard Time, August 1, 2014. If interested, please provide the following information to shawn.oneil1@va.gov: 1.Company's Name and contact information for Point of Contact; 2.Company's DUNS number; 3.Socio-economic status (Small Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), etc.; 4.Copy of current Designated UST Operator's certificate issued by the International Code Council (ICC); AND 5.Status of certificate holder in relation to the Company, (e.g. owner, employee, etc.). The company must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for contract award. SDVOSB and VOSB status will be verified using VetBiz. IMPORTANT: Before responding to this notice, please take note of the following: In order to be considered a small business under this NAICS code, pursuant to FAR 52.219-14 Limitations on Subcontracting (NOV 2011), the resulting contractor must agree "that in performance of the contract ¦ at least 50 percent of the cost of contract performance incurred for personnel shall be expended for employees of the concern."
