Description
Site visit questions and answers: Questions from the HVAC Site Conference July 23, 2014 9:00 am 1 - Is this a Full Service Contract? Yes this is a Full- Service Contract 2 - All repairs to be included on this contract? Yes, all parts, supplies, tools required are to be furnished by the contractor. Contractor is not responsible problems that arise from "Act of God" (i.e. Power surges, lighting strikes, war, floods, etc.) Contractor will be responsible for removing all used parts and materials (oil, bearings, etc.) 3 - What type of control systems does the equipment have? HCRU & NCGR have MSDA ADS (Metasys) and the NFSPRC unit has a Honeywell system. The contractor is not responsible for repairs to the control system. The contractors will not be responsible for any of the VFD controls. 4 - How does contractor access the units? The contractor will schedule 24 hours ahead with the COR a time to complete the service. The contractor will get permission from the COR before shutting any systems down or starting any fire related work (welding, soldering, etc.). 5 - Does the chiller service include the pumps on the NFSPRC Chiller? Yes There is a small leak in one of the valves that the government will repair before contract is released. There is some condensation on one of the chiller lines that the government is aware of and will not require the contractor to fix. 6 - Is cleaning the barrel on the NFSPRC Chiller part of the contract? No, the government will handle this another way. 7 - Is the duct heaters (re-heat coils) at the NCGR unit included? No, but all other related controls are.
