- Notice Type: SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: 1. NOTICE: This is not a solicitation but rather a Sources Sought Synopsis to determine potential sources for information and planning purposes only. 1.1 The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to determine if responsible Indian Economic Enterprises (IEE) sources exist, to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or a IEE Set-Aside. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 333120 which has a corresponding size standards 750. The government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in IEE business concerns. The Government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if capable and identify your business status to the identified NAICS code. 1.2 The information requested by this sources sought will be used within the BIA to facilitate decision-making and will not be disclosed outside the agency. Firms choosing to respond to this RFI are cautioned that this RFI is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). 1.3 In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the U.S. Government to form a binding contract or agreement. The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) will not be obligated to pursue any particular acquisition alternative as a result of this Sources Sought Notice. Responses to the Sources Sought Notice will not be returned. Not responding to this Sources Sought Notice does not preclude participation in any future solicitation, if one is issued. 2. PROGRAM DISCRIPTION: Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supervision and incidentals necessary to provide four (4) new heavy equipment units of 140M3 Motor Graders, part#384-8605. Standard Equipment list includes key components necessary for an operable machine. 2.1. INFORMATION REQUESTED (Please limit submission to 5 pages). All interested sources that are experience in meeting the above requirements are invited to indicate their interest by providing the U.S. Government the following information: 1. Companys Information: Name, address, telephone number, point of contact names, e-mail addresses, CAGE code, and business size. 2. Status as an Indian Economic Enterprises (IEE) vendor. 3. Experience in heating system installation. 4. Capability Statement. 5. Interested Contractors must provide the above information to the point of contact listed herein. Information submitted shall be in sufficient detail for a decision to be made based on the criteria previously mentioned. 7. Submission Information: Interested sources submission must be clear, concise, complete, and be submitted via e-mail by 12:00 pm MDT on July 30, 2014 to Mary Jane Johnson at maryjane.johnson@bia.gov.
